The Right Words

There are so many times when my head is full of thoughts that I just wish I can express in words. I keep on keeping those feelings inside me but I always ask myself the same questions “Till When?”. Why is it that I have to say how I feel to make others know how I feel? I stay silent hoping that I could be understood.

A smile on my face is always hiding a pain that I try so hard to let go of. Just trying to set more goals and plan more plans that would distract me of the real feeling I am trying to escape from. Sometimes escaping is the only solution when you can’t change the situation.


Thanksgiving Day!

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Never Too Late.”

Today is a day to be thankful for things in your life. It took me a minute to realize what I want to be thankful for since it was a rough year for me. But the first thing that I wanted to be thankful for is being healthy since we take our health for granted but it’s not! Another thing that I want to be thankful people who stood by me and supported me through my ups and downs (they know who they are). They made me feel special and that I am capable of doing almost everything. They listened to all of my complaints and thoughts carefully. I can’t possibly live without them!

Striving to be a cook

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Shaken and Stirred.”

I’ve never been a really good cook, I barely cook. Sometimes I wish I can cook delicious meals and invite everyone I know so they can try out what I did but that’s just a wish!

The one time I was really proud of myself actually was when I tried making crepes. I felt like I’m the best cook that could ever exist. Although it is one of the easiest deserts to make and I actually followed steps that I found online including pictures and a how-to video so it couldn’t been any easier.

The best thing about cooking is the sense of accomplishment that someone gets when they cook something and it turns out to be very tasty. Besides peoples compliments would definitely give more confidence.crepe

My life as a Movie

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Cue the Violins.”

If my life was a movie, I am sure that it will have different soundtracks and never the same one. Some of the soundtracks would be a happy song and others would be really sad ones. But the main soundtrack of my life would definitely be “All By Myself” by Celine dion (I know it’s a sad song but I really love it). The main instruments used in my life if it was a movie would be the piano, violent and drums!

The best period of my life was definitely the time I was in college. It was a new and a fresh start for me, where I wanted to start everything over and I actually managed to do that. I made a lot of friends in a really short time, I was a member in most the clubs and got good grades in all my courses. I even won a scholarship to Germany where I spent there a whole semester and enjoyed every bit of it.

When I look back at this period, I definitely think of it as the good old days. I am trying to create new memories that I could think of later as the good old days but sometimes that is a hard thing to do so I will keep on working on it.

“What’s meant to be will always find a way”

It’s my all-time favorite quote. We all pass by certain moments which make us ask ourselves why a certain situation happened but we usually don’t have an answer for that. I personally had lots of different experiences when sudden things change in my life without knowing the reason of that change. And then I just tell myself “What’s mean to be will always find a way” and that eventually what is destined is what’s going to happen. It’s all about the art of patience, how patient a person can be until things in his/her life are in order.

Some people think that as long as everything in their life is destined then they shouldn’t do anything about it, in my opinion this is WRONG! You should always work hard to reach what you really want and do your best to make it happen. I believe that not thinking too much about what’s happening and rather enjoying it is the key for a better lifestyle.

Let It Be

My old life should’ve been left untouched. It was perfect for me even if it’s not perfect in the eyes of others. I had everything that I could ask for. My life had a simple routine that wasn’t boring. I was surrounded by people who really care and would be there for me whenever I need them to be.

My life was simple and perfect for me! It was my comfort zone that I wouldn’t have imagined of changing.

Everything changed one day all of sudden, everything I really cared for in my life was gone and I couldn’t get any back. I appreciate more what I had and trying to look for all the things that could comfort me in my new life but it has been a while now. And I am not sure if I will ever get what I had before ever again. Maybe I just have to adapt to everything new in my life (even if I don’t admire) maybe that is the only solution. Although in my dreams, I always see everything that I wish for, I wake up the next day to reality, to my new life and trying to convince myself that it might be a better one. Maybe!

Promises are made to keep

Promises are made to keep but the real deal is that they never are. I personally hate promises more than anything in the world. A promise is a different kind of hope. Someone gives you a promise and you just act upon this promise. You adapt your life to this promise. You make sure that everything fits with this promise. And then suddenly the promise is not kept, and everything changes then. You become disappointed and regret the fact that you believed this promise and made it a law.

Promises keep you lingering to a certain thing or a person. Break free of any promises that have been made to you or you have been given to someone. Any promise will become a dream that you’ll be trying to catch. Have you heard of anyone who caught a dream? No! The only promise you have to keep is the one you give to yourself, the promise of being better, the promise of being more ambitious, the promise of developing yourself and many more. Don’t let any factors surrounding you not to keep your promise. Keeping these promises mean that you value yourself enough.

Don’t promise what you can’t afford to do and don’t take any promises for granted!

Who wants to be happy? Definitely me!

Have ever wondered what can make you happy?

There is so many ways to make someone happy, some people become happier when having more “things” other are so happy when they have “Special People” in their life. Sometimes being happy is a feeling that is not usually depending on things or people, it’s a feeling that comes from within.

Here are some steps that I know can make most of us happy.

Start with yourself: sit with yourself in a quiet place that you feel comfortable at and start thinking of what makes you genuinely happy.

Decisions: After knowing what exactly makes you happy, take decisions that would make you feel such happiness. Some decision could be that you want to grow in your job, or work on having a better fitness or even buying a new car. Whatever makes you happier, start doing it!

Depend on yourself: So many of us make a huge mistake by depending on others to make ourselves happy which is totally WRONG!! What if this person is not there anymore? Are you going to be sad and start then looking for ways to cheer yourself up? Never depend on someone to be your main source of happiness because he/she will never be around forever.

Positivity: Surrounding yourself with negativity is definitely the last thing you want if and when you are trying to be a happy person. Start looking for positive energy that you could gain from positive people around you or even positive activities that you could start doing. A very positive activity would be Yoga for example which teaches you to concentrate on yourself and connect to your inner self as well. There are so many other activities that could help with your positivity.

Free yourself: The more stress in your life the more you become unhappy. Learn to de-stress yourself. Don’t overload yourself with so many emotions or so much effort that you’d end up being overly stressed. Organize your personal and your social life so you can make sure you feel better about yourself. (Read more: Who doesn’t stress out?)

Why is STRESS becoming a very popular word these days.

Each and everyone of us is always thinking of something
that might make them stressed such as work, studying, financial insecurities or even traffic during rush hour

When does stress become a good thing? NEVER!!! You should be motivated rather than being stressed by finding
ways that could keep you on the right track. The only way to keep your self motivated is by motivating yourself and
setting goals that you can accomplish which will make you more and more motivated.

Each one of us always ask themselves this question, HOW TO STOP BEING STRESSED?

By following these simple steps you can be Stress-Free:

1) Avoid over-thinking about a certain issue as that would make it hard for you to de-stress
2)Organize everything around you to make it easier to organize your own mind
3)Plan ahead anything you are used to do to avoid any delays that could cause stress
4)Exercise to release endorphin hormones which helps you to get rid of any kind of stress

Be following these steps, you will have a more peaceful life without doing so much effort.
